The Laredo is one of the three trims of The Jeep Grand Cherokee. The other two are the Limited and the Orvis. The Grand Cherokee offers abundant ground clearance, skid plates, full-time Select-Trac, and or Quadra-Trac on-demand 4WD. The 4.7-liter Power Tech V8 engine on 4-wheel drive models generates 235 horsepower.

 

There is also the 4.0-liter power tech I-6 engine that develops about 85 percent of its torque at idle. Other features that the Laredo is offering include the AM/FM stereo radio with CD player, CD changer controls, clock, and six speakers. There are also instrument panel-mounted auxiliary power outlet, full-length center-floor console that offers plenty of storage, remote keyless entry, and six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. A 40/60 split-folding bench seat is also being offered.

 

There is also the Quadra coil suspension system that allows the vehicle to command the terrain with live axles, coil springs, and high-pressure gas-charged shocks. Also available is the 4-wheel antilock brakes designed with electronic brake distribution, making remarkable braking performance and reduced brake fade. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo also features the silverblade cast aluminum blades and body-color grille and black trim.
