The 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in Laredo and Limited on both 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive. It is offering standard features tat include air conditioning, power windows, power doors, power mirrors, and cruise control. The Laredo features an appearance package with leather seats, fog lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Limited offers an additional automatic climate control, heated mirrors, 10-way power seats with mirror memory, and an infinity 180-watt AM/FM/cassette stereo system with CD.

 

The Grand Cherokee is offering standard equipments that include 4.0-liter inline-6, and rear wheel drive, dual air bags, dynamic side intrusion beams, 4-wheel, and ABS. There is also an available 4.7-liter overhead cam V8 as optional. The two engines both come with standard 4-speed automatic, and an option of 5-speed automatic for the V8. The 5-speed has a second overdrive designed for better fuel economy. Grand Cherokee has a newfound tendency to stay pointed straight ahead is because of a triangle link which replaced the Panhard rod, its biggest improvement.
